After incrementally improving his scoring every year (7.3,13,15.9,20.2,23.3), Austin Reaves has shown that he does have star power. His hard work has landed him the most lucrative contract of any undrafted player in the history of the NBA. While it is much deserved after a stellar year of being a higher scoring option than even the player with the most points in history, questions remain if he is really worth it. Questions surrounding his defense and whether or not he can produce in the playoffs are surrounding the signing. Although the reaction to the signing is mixed, it is safe to say the lakers have chosen a path and an identity for the near future.
