What a great year in the NBA. It seems the NBA is turning over a new leaf as young teams with hustle are leading the way. No longer can you win with one or two stars, you need a good 1-8 to 10. We saw how much a team is willing to give up in order to commit to winning, and I think that is what set the knicks apart this year. But with that, what are the long-term implications of the knicks current success? can they sustain this with the rising waters in the East? Can they maintain or even improve upon their excellence going into next year where Wemby and the Spurs, not to mention the thunder, will be a little older and closer to their prime? It will be a challenge, but one thing is clear, the Knicks have set the bar high.
