Child Safety Standards

Effective August 22, 2026

TOPICAL has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This applies to every part of the service - topics, comments, direct messages, uploaded images, and usernames or profiles.

Prevention

Reporting to Authorities

If TOPICAL becomes aware of apparent child sexual abuse material, it is removed immediately and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, and TOPICAL cooperates with law enforcement in connection with any such report, consistent with applicable law (including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A for US-based reporting).

Reporting a Concern

Any signed-in user can report a topic, comment, or user directly in the app. Reports are reviewed, and violating content or accounts are removed.

If what you're reporting is a child safety concern specifically, also contact us directly using the information below so it can be prioritized and, where appropriate, escalated to the relevant authorities.

Child safety reports and questions about these standards can be sent to [email protected], or through the support form on the About TOPICAL page.
